Excellent!
Great example of a cool take on "ethnic" dressing. Dior or maybe a young Galliano. Love it!

Girls in Finland dress like this (minus the hat).

Blogger Butch said ... (10:39 AM) :

A nifty balance of the thought-through (clever deploying of black and white) and the "throwaway." The hat clinches--no, makes--the deal....

Why does he remind me of the clowns in the film "Paris, je t'aime"?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 AM) :

Wicked lil' hipster punks! I love their attitudes.. but their skimpiness is overwhelming sometimes.. But hey "
if you've got it flaunt it" might be their motto. It looks great... young and sassy.. I could see him at the misshapes party any given Saturday.

He has carried this look off perfectly ... so cool, so dior, so me ...

Blogger Carlene said ... (4:22 PM) :

That is one hot and stylin' mime.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 PM) :

the thing's i'd do to look like that...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 PM) :

i think he's lovely; if he were wearing a sandal (even omigod flipflops!) he'd look like something out of a visconti film -- the shirt might be a little too 'intentional' (stringy, sleeveless?) but he brings to mind those people you see anywhere (on a train, in the bustle of union square) who are so beautiful you can't believe someone is not monitoring their every move, you know??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:41 PM) :

Dior boy as in he's modelled for Dior Homme before or because he's dressed in DH?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:00 PM) :

WHAT A DREAM BOAT!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:59 PM) :

i only like french 60s chic on the ladies...

Blogger Adrian said ... (6:18 PM) :

stripes are tired and overdone. *yawn*

Liking the jeans and shoes though...

Blogger robespierre said ... (6:34 PM) :

nice shirt... convict style. It looks fresh

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:42 PM) :

This look is perfect. Even the water bottle with the color of his skin, is perfect.

Blogger Loulou said ... (7:47 PM) :

i like it-. i get it. but the straps on that tunic needs to be bigger. that isawomens dress overjeans.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 PM) :

oh, hi guy!

love the androgynous flavor. the jeans are beautiful, could even be slimmer for my taste. who cares if stripes are played out, it's the way that top sits on his shoulders that blows my mind.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 AM) :

yeah, even though he's wearing currently-trendy stripes, there is something about the way his look comes together that is absolutely timeless.

i'm guessing the sartorialist called him dior boy because he's channeling the general dior homme aura. he seems like he might be the type of boy hedi slimane would pluck off the sidewalk and cart away to feature in his next show/have has his next muse/etc.

Blogger Murph said ... (10:10 AM) :

Please put another picture up. Quickly.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:22 PM) :

He looks like he can push the gondolas in Venice , so cool

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 AM) :

Cool european style ,ciao from Amsterdam.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:36 PM) :

i think that he looks really cool! really in fashion. this kind of style suits hima lot.
