She looks great. The cut of the coat, the proportion of the scarf, and that lovely face and haircut...Nice!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

Love that scarf with that whole ensemble.

LOVE the chic haircut! And the shoes, fitted jacket, bulky scarf. The contrast in weights and textures is great. And of course brown and black is the new gray and black. Terrific!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 PM) :

I love this. At first I thought it was the scarf. Then the tights and the shoes. Then the coat. Then I decided it was the hair! I find all of it charming.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:58 PM) :

Simpatico woman, horrid scarf.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:58 PM) :

Head to toe, this woman looks great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 PM) :

the epaulettes on the coat are fantastic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:50 PM) :

I love it!! Those shoes are f a n t a s t i c.

Not so crazy about the haircut though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:52 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 PM) :

The hair just doesn't fit with the rest of the outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:42 PM) :

The shoes are sweet, but the scarf looks like something she picked up off a locker-room floor.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:59 PM) :

i love everything about this outfit. that scarf and those shoes! and the fitted, BROWN trench! love.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:00 PM) :

WoW!!! divine, the combination of her scarf with the shoes are just Artful and perfection!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 PM) :

There's something about big scarves that I like, as I would also wear this with flats as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:57 PM) :

she is cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 AM) :

Those shoes!

Blogger Tongue in Cheek Antiques said ... (2:38 AM) :

like the coat
love the legs
I could never do your job...
I find that the scarf eats up everything, I don't get why it is considered fashionable, I don't like it at all.
A different scarf would add such elegance that is already evident.

Blogger Luciana Malta said ... (8:46 AM) :

Well, I really think this is the best look of the last days, dear S...
I just love her "shape", thinny, so everything - or every clothe -
fits really fine on her.
The colour mix is fantastic, and the scarf... ah!, the scarf... - wiht
all its colors in a, in the beggining, so serius look - it´s the best
part of a really great end.
A big final.
Un grande finale.
Une grande finale.
Um grande final.
Well. Wherever it be.
PS.: By the way, sorry for my "brazilian" english... ;)

Another fashion victim overwhelmed by a scarf

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:50 AM) :

So cute! Love the pop of colour on her shoes too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

She looks like she laughed and added the scarf and shoes as fun elements, and it works so well, she is adorable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:23 AM) :

One word. Scarf.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:13 PM) :

Fantastic! The Doctor Who revival continues hahaha ...

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (4:19 PM) :

Fashion Rule #359:

Always have ONE piece of item as the focus of your outfit.

Example:

just like this lady did with her scarf!

Blogger Daniela Lot said ... (7:06 PM) :

Very nice composition.

I liked the scarf better, maybe because it has brasilian's flag colors :-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:22 PM) :

I love it! Kudos to her for using an Ikea table runner as a scarf!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 PM) :

She manages the difficult combination of being quirky and elegant...and the scarf is wonderful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 PM) :

i love this lady. that nose is amazing and adorable. even though she's clearly older, can still wear the Dorothy Hamill bob (circa 1970) like it was never popular during her time. i hope i look like that some day.

Blogger in defense of retail therapy said ... (8:47 AM) :

fantastic shoes

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:27 AM) :

Cute! The scarf and the shoes are perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:37 PM) :

Love the shoes; they're so dainty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:58 AM) :

very simple but also really feminine, in a french nouvelle vague sixties kind of look. love it!

Blogger Celia said ... (10:50 PM) :

I want to have this kind of style when I'm in my 50's. Just a touch whimsical without looking silly--you can tell this is an elegant lady who doesn't take herself too seriously.

Anonymous Cait said ... (7:54 PM) :

I love the way she looks so demure and conservative, but then she is wearing this bright, fun scarf. Very wonderful!
