I like how her light hair contrasts with her dark, heavy layers. Although I do wish this whole grunge look would pass a bit, it feels gloomy sometimes. I'm looking forward to spring.

I love the proportion of this lady's outfit, especially the thin ankles peeping out of the long, voluminous skirt, which has such a sense of comfort about it that's so intimate and sexy.

You've got to love Paris! I know Italians have unmistakable style, same as London, but only in Paris do they not seem to have to work at it. It's like, an innate sense to them. Look at any of the following Paris shots, and they all seem unaware of their total perfect style. This woman may be riding her bike to work, but anywhere in America women riding their bike to work have nothing anywhere near these white leather boots, they're wearing runners and sport shoes, and whatnot.
France has style you cannot and will not ever reproduce anywhere else!

When I saw this picture, I imagined her in motion -- quick small feet in those little ballerina shoes, blonde hair blowing, the cropped jacket swaying, and that wonderful skirt all bounce and flutter.

She and the woman in the photo above (as well as many others) both have the same pigeon toed stance. It seems to be a reaction to having a photo taken to turn all girlish and weird. These are such attractive women--it's a shame they are so uncomfortable being observed or photographed.
That is how a Parisian looks like (in my mind )...
She definitely pulled this look off. . . not just anyone could.
