Ohhh, she looks so pretty! Plus the wonderful sunlight. The fold and fabric of her jacket is really beautiful and I love the extra-length of her sleeves for the dark top. The city-shorts accentuate great legs!! The whole look gets me excited about Spring!

Blogger Cut of cloth said ... (9:35 AM) :

A lovely look
Young and fresh
The sunlight in her hair
Highlights her braided locks
And makes this picture
Memorable

Wow! This outfit is amazing. Love the black/blue/beige combo. Love the shape of the belt and coat(what do you call it, exactly?). Love the texture of the coat. I am absolutly inspired. The only thing I might change is the shoes. While the shoes are awfully cute, I think I would have chosen something darker or heavier.

love the jacket look with the belt...

the lack of hardware is quite refreshing. this is messy done chic!

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (12:12 PM) :

She looks great, love her shoes, her bag, her outfit, but her hair and her happy smile are the best!

where did your wife get her jacket?!!?!?!?!

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (2:22 PM) :

She looks like a ballerina.

Very pretty.

Blogger jasmine said ... (2:38 PM) :

What a lovely wife! She looks adorable; the long, heavy sleeves are wonderful. That Marni look is my absolute favorite for the spring.

Blogger Jane Flanagan said ... (2:55 PM) :

It's the peek of blue and the white shoes that make this a winner for me. Are those Chie Mihara shoes? - Those and the sunny disposition. She isn't putting on any affectations at all.

Blogger Hard Luck Hero said ... (4:10 PM) :

Love that.

Blogger Hard Luck Hero said ... (4:12 PM) :

I love the whole thing; the jacket, the belt, the cutest smile, the sunshine, the blue layer way underneath there, and especially the 'ps that is my wife' post. Love that.

Blogger H said ... (4:20 PM) :

I love this look. Your wife is lovely!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (4:20 PM) :

Even sweeter than she is your wife.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:07 PM) :

She is adorable! The touch of blue is great and I also noticed the lack of buttons, buckles, etc. which is nice. Great hair too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 PM) :

Your wife wouldn't happen to be the same woman as 'On the Street...Brilliant Color, Manhattan' would she? And thank you sartorialist for making my internet home page so very beautiful with all your gorgeous pictures. It definitely makes my day.

Blogger Dr. Adjunct said ... (5:59 PM) :

She is LOVE-ly...and such porcelain skin. The outfit looks so great on her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

how can she be someone's (your) mrs when she looks like a sweet 17-year old? Cradle robber!! ;-) Seriously, she is absolutely beautiful, elegant, and you are so lucky. Her smile is her best accessory. That being said, I LOVE the outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 AM) :

That light! She looks like an angel with a sense of humor. I think I'd love anyone who took such a great picture of me forever (of course, I'm sure her feelings for you help give her that radiant look)! Mazeltov!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:18 PM) :

Sart, I'm the Anon. who posted a few days back asking if you could post/point to a photo of your wife. Thanks so much, Absolutely beautiful!
And I guess it's the fact that SHE is posing for you accounts for that gorgeous smile that lights up the entire photo =)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:15 PM) :

Is she as beautiful as she looks in this picture - or is it the look that she gives the photographer that makes her that way?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:14 PM) :

Nice layering. love the beige shirt.
But those leggings don't look good on most.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 PM) :

She is ADORABLE. Absolutely beautiful and tres chic. Wow. This is one of my favourite pics and thats saying a lot!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:04 PM) :

I ove the outfit except maybe I'd go for different shoes. But what I like best is that she looks like such a sweetheart of a person. Lucky fellow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:36 PM) :

Your wife is beautiful! What a lovely family you have. The proportions and color combination are spot on. I'm inspired!
