oh, how very nice. the façade of the Sant'Alessandro church, I mean.
the guy in front just looks like he's just dyed his cardigan and gone to outlet heaven.
what on earth is he doing in a Sart post, though?

This is an absolutely fantastic look that could have come off the runway of any ready-to-wear collection of the past few years.

Well done and with such great spirit, too.

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (10:38 AM) :

This outfit seems comfortable and spontaneous which is refreshing. He's not trying too hard at all

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:53 AM) :

LOVE the easy elegance of his outfit and most of all LOVELOVELOVE his joie de vivre joyful smile, that seems to match the colors of his tops. Everything here is so natural and flowing and functional, proving that one does not have to sacrifice beauty for comfort in everyday living. You have such an excellent eye for the thoroughbreds of life, sart! He makes me want to go and open up all my windows to let the sunshine flowers in! xoxox, Love you, "Lady is Tramp"

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 AM) :

ohh, you have to love a smile like that

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

Oh My Gosh! I Love It!
The Blue Cardigan, The Silver Shoes.
Amazing..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 AM) :

Sheez! I know why he's smiling: do you know hard it is to find a proper pair of metallic silver shoes?

Good on you, mate.

Off I go to Day 2 of finding silver ballet flats,
mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

he is making me grin from ear to ear!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:06 PM) :

Wonderful to be able to wear a tight cardigan buttoned up with a strap across the chest and not have the man boobs pop out. Impossible for me, alas.

Great look!

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (1:24 PM) :

I have always been afraid of cardigans on men because it tends to look grand-daddy-ish. But this guy proves you can wear it in style. I guess it's in the color and fit that makes it hip. Love the color match of his cardigan and his t-shirt. Not sure about the scarf. It's very East Village meets Upper East Side.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:15 PM) :

this man is so proud! you made his day. haha.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:46 PM) :

nice mix of rocker and preppy....he pulls it off well

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 PM) :

Its not that its a bad ensemble, quite the contrary; but ... Dior Homme is looking tres tired. No wonder Hedi's being shown the door.

Blogger Dave said ... (4:02 PM) :

This one is great. Love the shoes, and his hair. Everything really.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:57 PM) :

A+

Blogger groovergreen said ... (9:31 PM) :

Is this a mere man --- or is it the cheeky young god MERCURY in a mortal incarnation? He is lean, lithe, groovy and gorgeous, and in those silver shoes look as if he could take flight (or whizz off on a bicycle for some all-night dancing). This is the way I would dress if I were a man. In fact, it's pretty close to the way I dress as a girl and a cyclist. I'll be the Diana to his Mercury, if he likes.

Blogger The Vintagent said ... (12:31 PM) :

Alexander McQueen couldn't have asked for a better model for his skull-scarf. Charming outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:49 PM) :

he looks a little old for this look. lovely smile, though. too bad his sweater is wrinkled, but perfection doesn't come easy.

Blogger Eastern Aisle Credit Solutions, Inc. said ... (1:08 AM) :

love that smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:21 AM) :

Happiness is a beautiful thing. Electricity!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 AM) :

fantastic..just scrolled through the visage of europe, and love what I see..casual and sexy and so refined. which is why i am moving to norway soon..looking at these pictures gave me a hundred more reasons why. thanks!

Blogger Diego Cervantes said ... (6:24 PM) :

PERFECTO, sin más.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:24 AM) :

I love the little details on this guy: the sleek silver shoes with the funky pattern, the yellow socks (you can barely see them on the enlarged picture), and the consistency in matching silver on his shoes, strap buckle, and wallet chain. His outfit's so stylish and low-key at the same time, I love it.
