Well,this girl has it all down.What I mean is that since her hair is long so is her skirt and so is her bag. Doesn´t look too interesting.

i think that skirt would be dangerous in a larger size, but on this little lady, it accentuates how little she really is. its very flattering. she's got a great look.
I generally abhor long skirts, and although she does manage to pull it off without looking like an old lady, it would be much cuter if they were really wide pants (which is what I thought she was wearing at first glance).

With all these short skirts around the city, it's pretty refreshing to see a young woman sporting a longer hem. She wears it well- it's modest without looking dowdy.

Very Marc Jacobs. She fits that whole lifestyle too - young yet erudite, collegiate, and yet so stylishly urban. She is the epitome of a muse.
I am totally surprised by this!! I didn't expect to like the long denim skirt because it's religious and conservative look but it totally rocks on her.
I looked at the photo for a long time to find out what is different about it. I think it's the interesting position of front pockets, the stitch detailing a few inches above the hemline and the sexy tank top.
It's the classic formula---fitted on top, volume on the bottom. Works every time...for me.
I also like the pocket detail of the skirt. Looks like it's based on a "workwear" design; very soon to be ultra trendy.
Navy + dark denim is my favorite combination - classy, yet laid back.

Long skirts are a favorite of mine! Just wanted to say thanks for blogging, I moved to LA two years ago and really miss NYC street fashion. Sometimes I'd walk to work and run across someone that looked so great, I was inspired to draw it before I forgot. I miss feeling inspired like that, so this blog satisfies that craving for elegant clothing! Thank you so much!

It's the simple, playful flats that make the outfit. A fussy or strappy shoe would have been a disaster.
Good use of the longer length. Simple and effective. Notice the flat shoes - nothing else would look this good with it.
