That low-buttoned double-breasted blazer is very reminiscent of the 1980's. It's not strictly correct form for double-breasted jackets; however, I loved the 1980's so I say "Well done, sir!".
I am seeing that the lapels seem too wide for the length of the jacket and make the proportions a bit off.
A lovely try...but the jacket is seriously unbalanced, too cropped, disproportionate to...itself.
And, to me, for me, the white pants are just too much of a jump from the navy jacket. And not at ease in the city....

I agree that the lapels skew the proportions of the jacket. Also, for an Italian cut, it's surprisingly baggy. I would like to see the jacket with a more slim fit.

this is hilarious. it is the first of your pictures that at first glance looks to me like it is an advertisement - this one for me is conjuring up 80s-era ralph lauren, or maybe a faconnable ad. don't know if that is a good or bad thing, but i find it amusing, since it's probably inadvertent. it's not just the clothes - but also his stance, the sunlight, the bldg, everything.
