She's great.

I am just glad the sunglasses are not quite the Ray-Ban shape we keep seeing. I didn't mind 80s leggings and nearly all other parts of the 80s revival (what do I care, right?) but the big 80s sunglasses are driving me nuts. Totally freaking nuts.

That said, this girl could wear whatever she wants. She's cool.

Love her haircut too. The crafty-looking topmost necklace appears to be Marni.

i love it!!!these are the kind of photos that made me love this site over a year ago.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

That girl's a tomboy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:51 AM) :

Ok.She has nicely in a fresh way decorated herself. It looks effortless-maybe it is,maybe not. Heck don´t care .The result is neat.

It's like she raided lisalevinejewelry.com.

I know the extra chunky one is supposed to the the style but me no likey. (Do love Lisa's stuff, however!!!)

american apparel + gladiator sandals + too many necklaces= L.A. hipster

at least she went all the way with the hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:20 PM) :

i don't actually like the black dress itself though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:38 PM) :

such a flashback to jr. high.
doesn't really do anything for me.

Blogger alex db said ... (1:39 PM) :

she looks stunning.. but mostly I'm wondering who does her hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 PM) :

yawn.

what's wrong with being a tomboy. i don't get it.

i love her style and everything she's wearing.

The bag is really distracting, takes away from everything else. It's deliberate but doesn't work here. If I put my index finger over it the look is great. There's enough going on between the necklaces and the shoes.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:26 PM) :

Oh, I love it- she's rockin it with a little of that Madonna attitude circa Desperately Seeking Susan! The bag, dress, piles of necklaces, stance, expression, haircut- everything.

Blogger upupandaway said ... (2:48 PM) :

i like the neon bag as a distraction, I think without it the look is sort of common. I LOVE the necklaces and the way she pulls everything off with (what seems like) very little effort.

The glass store front behind her is a great hair salon.

Wonder if she has just visited? The cut is very fresh and feminine.

Gilda, I agree, what is wrong with being a tomboy? She looks excellent!

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:24 PM) :

wow. She's a cooler Katie Holmes!

Blogger Maria said ... (3:26 PM) :

haven't we seen her in this blog in past? I liked her style now and her summer style is nice too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:42 PM) :

wow she looks like katie holmes with the sunglasses on! she is totally rocking that dress and those necklaces!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:00 PM) :

This is a cool looking summer look, but something is not sitting well with me about the jewelry. It's probably just me, but the necklace looks like cobwebs.

Blogger simplyolive said ... (7:41 PM) :

she's got all the right accessories.

Blogger Max said ... (7:44 PM) :

Lainy: I hate to burst your bubble, but those are in fact 80s ray bans. The model name is "Drifter," and they haven't been made for about 20 years.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:05 PM) :

Wow, a punkish Katie Holmes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:04 PM) :

wow!; her legs sure are tan.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 PM) :

Very comfy and together. I love the look on her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 PM) :

lovvvvvve. this is exactly the look i have been trying to perfect for weeks! of course, it helps when you have a marni necklace...

Blogger Decorno said ... (12:08 AM) :

Doh! Max, you have both burst my bubble and enlightened me. Ok, well, I stand corrected. Those are pretty badass Ray-Bans. I am glad she's rocking those and not the more obvious Kirsten Dunst white version. :)

she reminds me of a darker version of the currently popular model agyness deyn

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 PM) :

She's an Audrey Hepburn ("Breakfast at Tiffany's" anyone?) lookalike!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 PM) :

She is just beautiful and shines.
