See, now THAT's how to wear a henley.

Blogger Misterparticular said ... (9:34 AM) :

Henley? Riding boots? Am I getting a "Chariots of Fire" feel here? fun look especially if he's about 6' 2".

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 AM) :

Love the androgeny of this look! Makes it easy for women to replicate...

Thanks for the inspiration!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:57 AM) :

Dear God, how beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 AM) :

its girl or boy??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

I saw him at almost every show, who is he? Do you know?

Blogger Disneyrollergirl.net said ... (10:26 AM) :

This is impeccable! (Even though I thought he was a she!)

Blogger pumpkin said ... (10:31 AM) :

I'm getting an "if-Calvin-Klein-dressed-a-modern-day-Dr.-Zhivago" vibe. I like it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

I love this! Very androgynous. I's absolutely fabulous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:06 AM) :

Again I have the problem,is this he or her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

Top !!! Colors and collar ... Perfect shoes ...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

Very stylish guy...didn't you shoot him another time as well?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 AM) :

What is good about androgeny? I don't know any men who would care to be taken for a woman and I definitely don't know any women who would like to be mistaken for a man.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:56 AM) :

How old is him Sart?
he looks pretty young..but it does not matter, I wanto to marry him anyway! He is soooo cute...

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (12:10 PM) :

He's very...brave

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

This guy looked perfect the last time you shot him as well. Is he a model?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:40 PM) :

Stockholm again! If I lived in Stockholm, I might have to rethink my sexual orientation, for sure.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:44 PM) :

Not picking up the androgyny vibe that others are. Love the neck detail and would have really marveled at that necklace should a close up have been provided.

Thanks as always, Sart!

If Jil Sander dressed Legolas, you'd wind up with this guy. A nice mix of ethereal and real world.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:29 PM) :

Christ! What is in the water over there? We've seen a few androgenes from Sweden and they are all so stunning, I don't care if they're men or women.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:42 PM) :

This guy looks like the lost Legolas body double from Lord of the Rings- although, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Blogger Khan said ... (1:47 PM) :

Olof (written in the title of the picture..) is a male name!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:02 PM) :

who cares if it's a he or a she? do u fancy the look or not? what is the problem with u gender hung-up's?

anyways, it's a he. his name is olof, and he's got this fabulous sales agency(olof e agency) with the swedish brands; so last season, bea szenfeld and ulrika sandström. all very cool, check 'em out!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 PM) :

Perfect.

Those aren't jodhpurs and he's not wearing riding boots, but it's a best-in-class example of how to do equestrian looks without getting costumey.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:31 PM) :

Elvish!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:54 PM) :

pants stuffed in boots on guys are simply unacceptable

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

Why don't American boys ever look so delicate?

Blogger MARIA H said ... (6:58 PM) :

I remember this guy...elfish and androgynous. Good style, but def, not for all.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:24 PM) :

To be honest, he's looked better. Men shouldn't wear high boots, no matter what the context. Tucking your trousers into them screams 'over-styled'.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:44 PM) :

I agree with anonymousjk. He looks great and I ( a woman ) would duplicate this look in a second.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:06 PM) :

He's very stylish and sophisticated. Beautiful shirt collar and great looking boots.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

ooooo androgenous. i first thought this was a totally hot lady.

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (11:59 PM) :

Love the androgenous look on him.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:52 AM) :

wow, it's clean and neat. i love this look and his facial expression in your photo. so neutral.

the colour combination is great too. i never think people with pale skin should wear beige. it seems "nude" to me. but he made it!!! thanks for the photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:03 AM) :

this is beyond perfect!

Blogger WendyB said ... (3:17 AM) :

Wow, dude looks like a lady. Seriously, I thought he was an interesting looking gal. Now I think he's an even more interesting guy. A good look no matter what gender you are!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 AM) :

I like his look but do you have another picture of him smiling??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:11 PM) :

Sart ... you've shot him twice before - right?

Blogger M About Town said ... (7:00 PM) :

Damn. Now THIS is a great look!! I want every piece- and so perfectly put together. At first I thoguht that this was a woman, but then realized my error in sex, it makes a difference to see that a man can pull this kind of look off. extraordinary

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 PM) :

i just want to dress like him without being considerated as gay

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:29 PM) :

I LOVE this. Why don't North American men dress like this? Love the boots sooo much, and the shirt is casual but he manages to make it look elegant. And Boris, what about this outfit says 'gay'? If I saw him I wouldn't think that at all. Straight men can be stylish and unique too...if you're worried about people thinking you're gay then you probably couldn't pull off this look anyway.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 AM) :

This is Olof Erlandsson. He's the owner of a sales agency that is representing some of Sweden's new hot designers, like Bea Szenfeld. Go Sweden Go!!

Blogger montevideana said ... (5:02 PM) :

A modern day Virginia Woolf's Orlando.

Blogger triage said ... (6:22 PM) :

he's absolutely brilliant and jaw-droppingly beautiful -- I personally remember seeing him at the marc jacobs show in spring 2006 and thinking "wow ... can the man dress" ... THAT ... that is how it should be done.

and on an unfortunate side note: what thread about creative/non-trad men's fashion wouldn't be complete without smattering of hyper-dimorphic fascists? (like the comment about how men shouldn't be wearing knee-high boots period? (probably coming from the same semi-literate frogs that, months ago, said men should never wear shorts when the question was posed) -- I suggest the anonymous coward who wrote such to read up on the origins of men's suits, particularly english "dirty dress" ... where the ancestors of modern menswear were always paired with either knee-high boots or knee-high breeches)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

yeah? girl or a boy, or an elf?

Blogger underneath said ... (3:53 PM) :

I remember seeing Olof also at the Dries van Noten show earliler - he has an unique style and look.

Blogger www.dmitrimarkine.com said ... (2:48 AM) :
