how cute, adore the pumps

Blogger odilean said ... (9:26 AM) :

i love her hair, the grey mini, the pumps, the tights, the popped collar of her jacket, but above all, her sweater, which she is wearing almost as a dress, which matches her hair and pulls everything together. she is so cute, too...without make up, she looks about 14.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:27 AM) :

niiice
I like her simplicity ..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 AM) :

This is the look I aspire to...a chic urban nomad. Lovely!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:43 AM) :

How adorable is her twenties bob and that cheeky smile?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 AM) :

True. Adorable she is. Very strange yet very charming mix of sweater, skirt and pumps.

Blogger Lyrical Stamper said ... (9:57 AM) :

Adorable. Is that an Alpaca sweater?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:04 AM) :

the same haircut than Mireille Mathieu oh my gods !!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

Where the heck do I find tights that opaque?

I wish you had that shopping guide scheduled for April 07 up!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:08 AM) :

yep, she's adorable.with the haircut, the leggings and the cute shoes.u go girl

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:15 AM) :

i TOTALLY agree. LOVE the shoes.

Blogger lars stephan said ... (10:21 AM) :

Very cute, how the pumps match the color of the skirt, nice, love the gray against the black. Detail on sweater breaks it up nicely.

Blogger Mona said ... (10:25 AM) :

yesterday was truly a february weather treat and i also took the opportunity to go short with tights. love her hair as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:38 AM) :

From the front the shoes look like an amazing pair that I have from Acne jeans. They are from last s/s collection. The material is denim, with geometric heel with grey suede at the bottom. I wonder if these are the same? If so, great taste :-)

Blogger tintin said ... (10:43 AM) :

She has that kind of face where you can't tell if she's 22 or 42. Beautiful. I've been wondering when you were gonna take advantage of all these wet side walks around here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

Another one of those. "God I miss NY!" shots.
This is a perfect shot of a perfect girl, in a perfect city.
Very adorable

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 AM) :

LOVE the shoes, but the sweater is quite hideous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 AM) :

such a lovely ensemble... chic, comfy, sophisticated and yet down to earth. beautiful combination of colour / texture. also very much like the way the ground adds an almost tactile quality of material.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 AM) :

so cute! Great hair especially.

Blogger Lisa said ... (11:27 AM) :

she's warm and cozy and cute all rolled into one.

Blogger cjdd said ... (11:29 AM) :

the panel of muted tones (sweater, skirt) framed by black, in turn framed by the wonderful colours and textures of the wet concrete- this photo is so beautiful! what a lucky person. my eye is drawn repeatedly to the line of her ankle and calf against the bright spot on the concrete...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:31 AM) :

perfection, the fall shows seem to be going in a superficial direction, but here the fabrics are more natural and soft. Her hair cut is sofisticated yet (paired with her eyerows) seem naturally untamed. Love the sweater (faded dusty rose and black!) and proportions. Also like the grain on the concrete below her, it echoes her refined and natural beauty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:34 AM) :

Absolutely stunning.

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (11:56 AM) :

she does look adorable ..

and comfortable (which is the key to being cute).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:02 PM) :

The northern and southern hemisphere in one look. I love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:18 PM) :

Oh, this is so me!! Unbelieveable! So I really don't have to worry that this hair is making my face way too big... Kisses, T.

Love the smile and the hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

precious

Blogger Dare said ... (12:32 PM) :

cute.
love the V-neck sweater.

Blogger Ty (aka Meccabell) said ... (12:39 PM) :

Love the texture in this picture, the different fabrics on her clothes and shoes, the blur of the background, the grooves on the street. Very nice. She is great as well, love the confidence and the style.

Blogger Scent Hive said ... (12:39 PM) :

I love the juxtaposition of her look. The rugged alpaca sweater and oversized men's jacket against the dainty mini and pumps. Even the angelic shape of her face and softness of her bobbed hair seem to belie the mischievous twinkle in her eye. This girl is a force to be reckoned with I bet!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:44 PM) :

The look is very good. I think it helps to enhance the uniqueness in her. She looks naturaly beautiful and confident.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:52 PM) :

I love her haircut- It goes well with her face.

Blogger Erika said ... (12:57 PM) :

I like her way of mixing sage, tan, and black...it works well and it looks clean.

Blogger Calenna said ... (1:19 PM) :

Her cute bob and expression are what makes this adorable. Not so sure I'm all that into her sweater...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 PM) :

Nice soft shades with sharp black... The grey shoes are perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 PM) :

le charmant petit chou...

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (1:46 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

I have been looking at your site for a couple of years now and never commented....but she is the goods.

Blogger Jessica Ferri said ... (2:07 PM) :

how old is she?

Blogger Joseph Gordon Cleveland said ... (2:08 PM) :

The pumps are fantastic and I love the wheat and charcoal combination.

Of course, I think these proportions really only work on a very thin woman.

She's adorable: the kind of ebullient girl you want to spend all day sipping coffee with.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 PM) :

Love the bulk of the coat with the sleek black tights...but what's she wearing under the sweater?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 PM) :

She looks so cute...love the youthful ease of her look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:18 PM) :

lovely coat, with the jumper and the shoes- absolutely adorable. she looks so chic, paris/nyc. also love her haircut and the ends of her shirt showing perfectly enough in her pockets

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:18 PM) :

This is a great way to wear a funky sweater! It kind of dresses it up without trying to be too formal.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:19 PM) :

We need more cute, and this is the perfect balance of cute, fashionable, and sexy (Helps to have great legs)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 PM) :

Blogger lily said ... (2:29 PM) :

Oh, love love love! The hair, the coat, the stance. What a cutie.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:36 PM) :

the outfit works but her face it is abs lovely - really fresh lights up the photo!

Blogger RubyMel said ... (2:41 PM) :

I enjoy wearing heels, but find that taking public transportation and do a lot of city walking in rainy Seattle. I've always wondered if these stylish women really suffer for beauty, or have tips for us mere mortals on to make wearing stylish heels a reality?

I enjoy your insight and thoughtful observations.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:48 PM) :

i like it but i think it could have worked better with different shoes

Blogger photolexx said ... (2:59 PM) :

I love her shoes.

Blogger valerie said ... (3:01 PM) :

perfection! lengths, layers, colors are all just right.

Blogger La Loca 180 said ... (6:34 PM) :

I never thought I'd see anybody in NYC wearing a Cowichan sweater, and I never thought it would be considered "chic" lol

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:35 PM) :

in a visit to venice a couple of winters ago i likened the experience of walking the narrow streets and the 'canyon' formed by the buildings framing the sky above and/or canale and pavement below to a small-scaled version of the same manhattan phenomenon, in this case sky and pavement [especially in the financial district where i used to live]. but a long tangent...

i love the reflection of sky behind the girls left leg. i miss NYC.

Blogger lucylove;; said ... (7:49 PM) :

Adorable says it all :]

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:52 PM) :

I love the whole look, especially the coat. Her haircut is perfect.

Blogger DeepBlueSea said ... (12:31 AM) :

Even Morty likes her look.

And I do too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:33 AM) :

An 10:07 You should try Wolford 80 denier tights. They look as opaque as the one the girl has in the picture.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:47 AM) :

She is chic and well-dressed without taking herself too seriously. A really inspiring picture.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:22 AM) :

Lovely - young and cute without looking too hip or pretentious.

Blogger miss ghesquiere said ... (3:41 AM) :

love egg-shape. love "supa-cute" haircut and love legs. my look!

Blogger Kadria S.G. said ... (4:03 AM) :

even more than the outfit, i love the photograph - how the subject is between two buildings, the details of the cards and construction stuff on either side, the grittiness of the pavement, and the lines that direct the eye to the depth of hte photo... and the strong line that veers off to the right. well done!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:15 AM) :

ahhh, one of my favorites so far... she gets it.

xo*

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:51 AM) :

Awesome, love the cowichan style sweater, oversized is always good. I've yet to tire of these bobs, they're everywhere but I LOVE 'em. Style-wsie, def see the A.Chung similarity.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 AM) :

Adorable. I love the grey pumps. Anyone know what tights they are? I love the rich opaque matte look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:31 AM) :

i love it, but seems like there's a trend of andean-ish pattern sweaters...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 AM) :

Oh no. Took a second look at the picture. She has ruined her sweater by pulling out the sleeves and rolling them over the sleeves of her coat. That´s the way with young people. They just don´t care. Wear and throw away. That´s how it seems to me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:08 PM) :

gorgeous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

cute girl!

Blogger BP said ... (3:02 PM) :

Jack Daniel:

I said the same thing when I commented yesterday (even though my comment is nowhere to be seen today - ?!!)

If you only look at the bottom half of the photograph it looks like she's a tiny character in a stop motion world as if she's standing on a wooden table!

Blogger Paul Pincus said ... (4:36 PM) :

Those shoes with those tights...terrific!

Oh yeah.......she's got it. Whether you like the sweater or not, this girl has style. The real deal.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:11 AM) :

I love the childish bob.
The Bolivian (or Peruvian?) sweater could only look so chic on her under a shapeless peacoat like that.
Love the facial expression and playfulness.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 AM) :

u look great,Katie-love, Dad

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 AM) :

i love how the sleeves are slightly pulled out...she's look so effortless and chic.and i agree..she totally gets it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:00 AM) :

These jumpers (yes jumpers in Ireland) are the kind of thing you wear again and again, lovely to see them having a chic outing on this stylish girl!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

Pullover del Altiplano Boliviano, muy buena idea. Parece de alpaca.
Peinado genial
