I love everything about her look! The dress is beautiful, so are the shoes, the necklaces, the bag...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:03 PM) :

I love the canary dress and how she accessorized her outfit. Truly classic and effortless.

Blogger La Clocharde said ... (7:06 PM) :

Beautiful dress indeed...and even better because it's yellow, which I ocnsider a difficult colour.

Looking forward to read the story about the elegant gentleman from the last post...

So feminine without being too romantic or flirty/girly. How do I learn this? <3

Blogger Maria D.L.A. said ... (7:59 PM) :

Good outfit:simple and sunny!
And the black bag adds a touch of break at total light mustard yellow dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 PM) :

i just think way she's carrying her bag ruins the outfit.. it clashes with the necklaces and makes it look too messy.. other then that.. the canary dress is GORG!! and the gladiators!! TO DIE FOR <3

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (1:26 AM) :

Love everything! I have a similar coloured dress I love, now if I could only get my hands on the Alaia shoes she's wearing...I'd be one v. happy chick!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:35 AM) :

the dropwaist and the rolled up sleeves makes the outfit look really relaxed and comfy but her accessories definitely make it look chic as well. nicely done!

Blogger BELLA K said ... (3:18 AM) :

Wedge Gladiators from Azzedine Alaïa!

Blogger cat minoki said ... (3:32 AM) :

With those legs she can wear everything.
What attracts me especially here is the material of the dress.
Looks like a thin wool-mix.
And the darts at the neckline + the thin scarf hanging loose. And the rolled up sleeves. Very 20ies!
I really like it.
The shoes are sharp and turn the outfit into the right direction.

Mr. Schumann, once more a great proof of your wonderful talent: The same way you choose your "models" you choose the perfect backgrounds for them.
Yellow and grey is actually très en vogue.

Blogger ryder said ... (3:37 AM) :

very well accessorized!

Blogger CRF said ... (3:41 AM) :

I wonder if she got some specialty mustard at Dean and Deluca, while wearing her wonderful mustard dress?

Now, if she did, that would be quite humorous :) Good use of browns and yellow...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 AM) :

This lady has great personal style, she really knows what suits her. The dress is fabulous on her and is perfectly accessorized. She has a cool haircut too. Lovely photo, Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:42 AM) :

awesome look, great accessorizing, love everything about it! and am ever so jealous, that color would make me look as if i was just about to have my breakfast the other way around... but on her it's just fab!

and sniiiiff, could i BE any more jealous of the obvious warmth in nyc, it's deepest fall here in mid-europe already...!!

Blogger filoderba said ... (6:33 AM) :

Blogger Olviya said ... (10:17 AM) :

Little yellow dress - LYD!
new chic?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:46 AM) :

Call her mellow yellow!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 AM) :

sart when you shoot a girl in a dress like this you have to ask her who it is by- to satisfy all of our curiosity!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:41 PM) :

Stunning dress, stunning haircut, wonderful figure.
She obviously knows what suits her and what doesn't.
Certaintly, few women could carry off such a shade of mustardy yellow- one really requires such a warm skintone for it. She looks beautiful.

I know that such a thing would take away the art and mystery of your photographs, but i'd kind of love it if you posted where these people purchased their clothin as well. A few months back, you posted a picture of a girl in a Fendi dress, and it took me up until a month ago to discover that it was Fendi and purchase it.
Still, it wouldn't be the same as such sartorial style, elegance and beauty as captured by those you photographed was obtainable to anybody and everybody by your naming the designers and stores... quite the rut!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:34 PM) :

I could never wear the haircut or color of the outfit...but....

It's FUN!!!

Blogger Ammie said ... (6:30 PM) :

I agree with beths @ 8:37 -- the beauty lies in the fact that she "lets it speak, but controls it." Excellent way to describe it!

The necklaces are also perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 PM) :

PERFECT! she's so cute. everything about her is stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:56 AM) :

fabulous dress, and she knows how to wear it...for those who wanted to know, I believe the dress is by Thakoon.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:35 AM) :

reminds me of the yellow from "The Village" which was known as the 'safe color'.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:45 AM) :

Could it be a Thakoon dress?

Blogger Miss Cavendish said ... (7:17 AM) :

Love the saffron.

Blogger Gia said ... (10:49 AM) :

i like this look and she knows how to wear it!i like the dress and its color, what i don't really like are those sandals...they are very nice and stylish, but i have another idea about what she could have wear and still remain very elegant:)anyway someshoes or boots, another color, in contrast with yellow, maybe red:)

Blogger STEFANIE said ... (11:59 AM) :

wow the colour is amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:36 PM) :

I LOVE this dress....anyone know where it is from?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:20 PM) :

so wonderful...
but i'm sill wondering: where is this dress from??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:23 PM) :

she looks great

Blogger Gradient said ... (10:58 PM) :

YES THATS MY FRIEND LEIGH! SHE IS SUPER CUTES

Blogger Mira Vales said ... (8:29 AM) :

Love the colour;

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:54 PM) :

who makes this dress?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

I LOVE it!!
I adore the shoes too!!!

Blogger Saucy said ... (4:47 AM) :

She wears the colour well! Great gams.

Blogger Marianna said ... (5:13 AM) :

that yellow makes me think of one of Sonia Rykiel's collections...she had these amazing velvet dresses of that same exact yellow. I kept seeing it everywhere, it almost makes me feel that that yellow is "hers" now.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

I like everything about this outfit and it's something i would wear.

Blogger ita darling. said ... (11:15 AM) :

The neckline is reminiscent of the silk pieces that rachel comey has been doing for the past few seasons. Very flattering! We all live in a Yellow Dress Dream! (sing along!)

Blogger dangerdorge said ... (12:15 PM) :

The dress is Thakoon. It is silk.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 PM) :

Yes, it's current season Thakoon. Barneys carries it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:15 PM) :

Wow. Proof that dressing current doesn't have to mean looking like a hobo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 PM) :

Thakoon Sofia dress, available on shopbop.com

It doesn't look half as good on Shopbop as it does the way Lee styled it herself.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:14 PM) :

Love the entire look!

Blogger Cotton Candy said ... (8:55 PM) :
