That looks like a tuxedo jacket because of the collar, but it's not. I love it, and I like is style a lot.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:30 AM) :

What a sleek coat. Love this look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 AM) :

Bellissimo!

Blogger Maggie said ... (9:34 AM) :

the statue in the background mirrors his own statuesque pose. i love how he plays with the old-worldliness of his coat's shape by layering with a high-necked jacket. humorous and effective.

Blogger TEXTSTYLES said ... (9:37 AM) :

now all i want is to walk around in Stockholm, if only for a day.

*bisous*

Satin lapels? Cool.

Blogger Martin Diegelman said ... (9:53 AM) :

Black on black on black. Would have looked more dramatic with black gloves. Cigarette adds to his look too.

Mr Rudie Heinz should not be unfamiliar to you. He's a true living legend.

Blogger Laura said ... (11:01 AM) :

He's quite badass looking!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 AM) :

Great look. Maybe, just maybe, no one will say "I hope to look like that when I get to be his age," as is often the case when someone older that 25 is featured here. Style is timeless, not the exclusive domain of the young. -John, SF, 52.

Blogger Hannah Stephenson said ... (12:09 PM) :

What a killer shot.

The background suits him perfectly...something very funereal in the combination of statue, tree branches, and all black garb.

I love his expression and in-the-momentness. The opening frame of a film?

Blogger Bedlam said ... (12:48 PM) :

I love this, great look for men

Blogger Stratos Bacalis said ... (1:06 PM) :

I love everything except the shoes...

Blogger diane said ... (1:10 PM) :

Great choice !
The tuxedo-collared coat is fabulous !
The look is demure (the mix of colours ; ton-sur-ton)
but very strong !
Love it - love it - LOVE it !!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 PM) :

Amazing coat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:10 PM) :

finally, to my surprise...this one not so much. he seems to aware that this photo is happening. otherwise, kudos for highlighting the white hairs who still know better than most of us. are the older women still holding it down with fashion?

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (3:53 PM) :

You know what's interesting? Personally, not his outfit, but the way he's being photographed. I love the expression on his face.

Blogger Deka said ... (3:56 PM) :

great coat
dont love the shoes

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:15 PM) :

Isn´t this the somewhat famous swedish fashion designer Rohdi Heinz? He was big in the 70s. (He was a neighbour when I was growing up and it shure does look like him) He is a super minimalist, does not want anything to distract as i recall it..

Blogger phdinprecarity said ... (4:16 PM) :

i have to brag...i think my boyfriend has this coat. j. lindeberg. but in navy. very daper, on both men.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:19 PM) :

like the zippered jacket beneath the outer coat

Blogger Katy said ... (4:26 PM) :

I love his coat, the lapels are fantastic. Would it be OK if I featured the picture of the guy with the painted nails on my blog, y'know, just a short "I love this picture" post?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:36 PM) :

I like the shoes - Blundstones :)

Blogger Carmen said ... (4:45 PM) :

Very nice and elegant coat. The cut is perfect. I love the photo in an ordinary position, smoking, with a glove in a hand...normal person acting like a professional model

Yes he does look like quite a tough guy, you wouldn't want to mess with him, although on closer inspection those shoes don't look too intimidating!
