The tailoring on the first jacket is perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:55 PM) :

Oh man LOVE those green pants

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:56 PM) :

another great example of sartorial variations on a personal motif.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (5:58 PM) :

Hot gorgeous is he?!? That first pic is amazing! Are those sweatpants? With a furry/feathered top under a herringbone double-breasted blazer?!? OMGosh, that is unreal! He truly makes it work.

And I fell in love with his man-bag the last time I saw his pic! HOT HOT HOT!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:00 PM) :

Love his use of colour, pattern and texture. Beautiful blazers, especially the one in the top photo!

Blogger Reach The Sky. said ... (6:01 PM) :

Oh boy ... tell us what is that VERY STRANGE sweater ...
The Beauty and the Beast in one ?
Interesting.

Blogger anonwomen said ... (6:07 PM) :

I love him - Garance just did a feature on him recently. Such great style

Blogger anonwomen said ... (6:08 PM) :

Francesco! i love him - Garance just did a feature on him.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:13 PM) :

In the first photo, is he wearing a women's blazer (circa 1990) over grey sweatpants? I think I've seen that look on the TV weather girl who thinks her bottom half won't be on camera...
And don't even get me started on the blue-fur-chest-hair-shirt thing. He's sportin' a whole lot 'o look and I'm lovin' it!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (6:21 PM) :

Francesco always looks amazing in an unexpected way. What style!

Blogger Bex said ... (6:26 PM) :

hair shirt on the first pic, lol!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:32 PM) :

does somebody knows who is he? i've seen him on garance dore recently too! http://www.garancedore.fr/en/2009/02/11/francesco/
he has an extreme sense of style! in the good way!

Blogger hc said ... (6:42 PM) :

now, we're talking..the nerve to match a jacket with sweats..

on the bottom, nice pant color, and kudos for over-fitting the jacket making you wince in a world where everyone attempts the all to safe, and now pedestrian, perfect cut.

second tri-mester look is in.

Blogger lenmeister said ... (6:50 PM) :

Wait...isn't the guy in the top pic wearing sweats and a sportjack?!?! Eh....he does pull it of well I must say..hm *dilemma*

Blogger tanya said ... (6:52 PM) :

wow.
he has such a brave yet elegant and detailed style.
love it.
especially his head wrap thing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:03 PM) :

so wonderful! creative without looking like a costume. helps that he is beautiful too!!

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (7:07 PM) :

I love his taste. I very much relate! So cute too..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:11 PM) :

hel-lo hotness..

;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:13 PM) :

At least HIS fur is fake!

Blogger YHBHS said ... (7:31 PM) :

yup, i love the sweat pants look too. with the sport coat, though what is that shirt he is wearing?

all in all, very hot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:33 PM) :

I like his top outfit more than the one in the lower pic; there is something to be said about the color coordination there.

Though I wouldn't necessarily make the same statement on myself, it totally works for him - esp as handsome as he is.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:21 PM) :

Hot bags!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 PM) :

that boy is so handsome that I didn't even realise that he was wearing a FURRY shirt!

Blogger Qaisy Jaslenda said ... (8:30 PM) :

haha..

he can be my style guru. he's original!

but i don't think the feathered top is suitable for me. or for anyone else! except Him. lol

Blogger die tägliche revolution said ... (8:46 PM) :

the first picture is SO ideal. who is he?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:59 PM) :

What is not to love with this look. I have always been told the sweats are purely for home but with styling like this I am starting to be converted!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:02 PM) :

hc, You crack me up. Tri-mester? I find myself agreeing with you more and more. I like that the colors don't match at all. Playful, but not over the top.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:31 PM) :

I was also told that you don't wear sweats out of the house!!! But this is so fantastics I am starting to be converted!!! It helps that they are a great fit!!

Blogger Andrew Barker said ... (9:33 PM) :

I love this guys style. Garance Dore recently posted some photos of him and it seems he always does something unexpected.

Blogger thierry said ... (9:56 PM) :

OK...I am totally lost here, I find both outfits hideous. Since when was this blog about how 'cute' or "handsome" someone is...elegance and style still have some basic criterias. His outfits remind me of some of the stuff some of my fellow student were putting together in my first year at studio bercot...give me a well cut suit or jeans and converse any day over this

Blogger KONSHONCHLOE said ... (9:56 PM) :

ilove your blazer , son increibles y sus green pant, HERMOSOS

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 PM) :

he is handsome.. but nothing has prompted me on here to say something as his furry blue shirt has! oh dear!!

Blogger James Jean said ... (10:08 PM) :

Hey, in the second pic, he breaks a rule by buttoning both buttons! Let's start a riot!!!

Blogger indigo warrior said ... (10:18 PM) :

Proves a point - mohair goes with everything. OK, it could be brushed alpaca (that would be softer). I wonder if he knits?

Nice buttons on the bottom jacket.

Blogger Brock said ... (10:22 PM) :

The pants are from DOM which is in Le Marais. They are awesome sweat pants that look more like sleeves from a hoody but for your legs.

Blogger Stephanie Clayton said ... (10:52 PM) :

The first look is interesting...the sweater is rather odd. Loving the second look. Both jackets fit like a dream.
But whatever, he is beautiful!! A delight to the eyes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:01 PM) :

oh! he's beaaauuutiful (#2)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 PM) :

Love him. keep posting cute men in prada.

Blogger diane said ... (12:16 AM) :

He's so cute in that little hat. And then, the 2nd picture, how handsome!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:18 AM) :

Those lips.....

Blogger SONGMAKER said ... (12:32 AM) :

He's the kind of man I look straight in the eyes and seductively lick my lips at . . . while I'm on the train pulling away and he's still on the subway platform, of course!

[Sigh!]
Oh the sweet agony of frustration, welcome back!

Blogger J O E L said ... (1:02 AM) :

THIS BOY IS.........PERFECTION.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:32 AM) :

love, love, love the top outfit, every detail of his ensemble works together perfectly

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:36 AM) :

love his clutches!

Blogger brlfvr said ... (1:36 AM) :

I like the effort but am not really a fan. Like the top half of the first photo and the individual pieces of the bottom photo but not together. It just suffers from trying to hard IMO.

Blogger Manja said ... (2:57 AM) :

He has a great style! Anyone who can pull of a tailored jacket and sweatpants has great style! I already admired him on garance about a week ago. His face reminds me a little bit of James Franco.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:59 AM) :

Hey,
Look at that green pants.
Sooooo cute, maybe i'll try to wear that color of pants for a change...=)
But i do really love the photo's..
Nice post..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:58 AM) :

Francesco! :D

Blogger Styloholic! said ... (4:06 AM) :

loved the first shot!
great style!

Blogger Laurence John said ... (4:56 AM) :

put grey jogging trousers with a suit jacket and a furry shirt on the average guy and he will look like a complete twerp. the lesson to be learned here ? ... if you're pretty (and preferably work in fashion) the normal rules do not apply.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (6:18 AM) :

He has been photographed MANY MANY times!

Really inspirational pictures.

Blogger A Super Dilettante said ... (7:27 AM) :

What can I say about the hair shirt in the first picture? This is something the ballet dancer, Rudolf Nureyev might have worn in Afternoon of a Faun ballet. Style means sometimes you really have to be daring and go for it!!

Second picture is very Ivy league outfit.

Blogger Galaretka said ... (8:18 AM) :

Charming :)

Blogger Julicious Fashionicious said ... (8:28 AM) :

I like his Eclectic style!Especially the first pic.

Blogger the sophisticat said ... (8:28 AM) :

Truly personal style.

The fur vest, in the first image, is mohair, and it is Prada AW07.

Thank you for the posts, Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 AM) :

Not too sure about the blue chest hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:23 AM) :

LOVE the entire look on the last picture!! The trousers, the bag, the jacket and the hair, cute too!

Adore the jacket and the bag on the first picture. Also like the way the sweatpants look with the rest of the outfit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 AM) :

loooove him. his eyes smirk right into my soul.

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (10:03 AM) :

Great jackets but I could never do the sweatpant look.

Blogger Christy said ... (10:29 AM) :

I love the dressing up of the sweat pants...not dumpy at all. Inspires me to get more creative with my work attire :-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:42 AM) :

It's a very personal and different style and the boy is quite handsome.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:01 AM) :

Always happy to the sweat pants dressed up... or everything else dressed down. Wrote about this very trend yesterday. Great shot!

Blogger Riina said ... (11:11 AM) :

that guy on an upper pic looks just perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

He is AMAZING!!!! He dresses better than any girl I know! Garance Dore also peeped him and he looked TO DIE!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:22 AM) :

Who IS he???? What does he do? He's amazing!

Blogger melange muse said ... (11:29 AM) :

I like it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

Francesco, ti amo!!! Sei molto bello, molto fantastico. Ciao da una americana che ti ammira!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:13 PM) :

in the grey...very cute. very sneaky with that fur top there. my money is on him having a cotton tail happening there at the back. no?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:43 PM) :

Francesco, the stylist! He's gorgeous, he's got energy and humor and he's in tune with the universe. He's the cupid of fashion. A true man-muse.

Blogger John Danner said ... (12:43 PM) :

Man.. sweatpants are sweatpants but somehow this works. Not so sure about the furry thing under that jacket.

Blogger Andy said ... (1:06 PM) :

He is gorgeous... it doesn't matter what he wears.

Blogger Admin said ... (1:22 PM) :

This post has been featured on VIL's Friday Blogaround. Congrats!

Blogger D. said ... (2:06 PM) :

Ahahaha this guy looks like a Jonas brother.

Love the green pants in the second pic, and the one-hand-in-pocket/one-hand-on-clutch stance in both!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:04 PM) :

Francesco..He is gorgeous! Garance Dore did a feature of him some days ago.
Each picture of him is so original!

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (7:32 PM) :

He looks like someone that might have been in some Jean-Paul Belmondo movie in the '50's or '60's. Good looking dude.

Blogger "Eddie in the corner" said ... (7:36 PM) :

He looks great - When i first saw those fuzzy sweaters in the runway videos i thought they were cool but had some trouble picturing them on the street.. he does it perfectly, casually "no big deal". Like his Portfolios too.
Bet there's going to be a debate about the pants (the Ugly American sweats thing) i just got a pair of Yohji's Y-3 version and am pretty happy with them in an all black dress 'em Up combo.

Blogger Lucas Jones said ... (8:08 PM) :

omg, r those sweatpants on number one? luv it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 PM) :

YAWZAH!!!! He is hot! Great individual style!

Blogger Paul said ... (8:04 PM) :

i want that leather brief case thing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 PM) :

The best thing about this look is his face and his hair. I'm sorry but sweats and jacket? No.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:06 AM) :

Great Jacket

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:19 AM) :

i definitely enjoyed the beautiful contradiction of his first outfit: the tailored jacket w/ trackies, the grey, the beanie, and even that crazy sweater underneath!
it is above backwards =D

I loved the grey.

Blogger ADJIUMI said ... (10:06 AM) :

I love the hairy swater (Prada)!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:25 PM) :

I really don't understand what the fascination is about these two outfits. People wouldn't bat an eyelid in London about these 'combos'. Boring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:54 PM) :

so cute!!!!

Blogger Live More Now said ... (7:31 PM) :

Anonymous Elle J said ... (12:52 AM) :

He is beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

Aching perfection although I don't believe in the concept of "perfection". I imagine walking the street of Paris all day in the company of this man rambling about the randomness of life and to end it with a bittersweet kiss.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 AM) :

I want to know bag's brand!!! that is so fabulous!!!!!!
