Blogger Manja said ... (10:10 AM) :

Oh, I love the way she layered her clothes and the rolled up sleeves of her coat! I personally would have worn different shoes with it but those Vuittons do really look good on her.

Blogger David said ... (10:14 AM) :

Audrey.....Come come dear: she IS very lovely. Dick's right, one can see her dying languidly in a stream

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:21 AM) :

chanel bag, bottega veneta cardigan, LV shoes, D&G shirt and a grey skirt the perfect casual combination....

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (10:23 AM) :

I like the outfit, most of all because it looks like she splurged on the shoes and paired it with other nice things she already had. These days you have to make your closet work extra duty!!! Jorge from WPB

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 AM) :

the shoes are too busy...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

I like those sandals. But the girl is more likely

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:02 AM) :

Perfect! Fantastic shoes, too. Oh, to have legs like that.

Blogger Olviya said ... (11:07 AM) :

yep, LV shoes makes this outfit interesting and not boring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 AM) :

LoVe. LoVe. LoVe the shoes. I wish that her outfit had a little more to do with the shoes. They are perfection!!!

Blogger Jennifer said ... (11:18 AM) :

I am all for flamboyant shoes, but these LV sandals I just don't get. I love the rest though, and would have loved to see the Marni platforms you posted yesterday with it

Blogger londondog said ... (11:21 AM) :

Hmmmm... beautiful girl but there is just too much going on in this outfit with the different textures, patterns and colours. Don't get me wrong - love the mismatch and texture/colour clash but only when it works and here, there is something missing - the thick layers of woollen coat and skirt do not complement each other, and the 255 and LV shoes are both fighting for attention and neither wins.

Blogger SparkleQueen said ... (11:24 AM) :

To me, this look defines Fabulous.. at least for today. :P

Blogger CHEI said ... (11:32 AM) :

i LOVE the shoes!
and the way she put the jacket and all together.

Blogger glow owl said ... (11:34 AM) :

i like this. i like her rolled cuffs and chunky ring. can you imagine this with a slim, high-waisted fuschia mini instead? that would be very wow, i think. but i like it, as is, too. she looks like a fabulously interesting person. :)

Blogger Sarah said ... (11:38 AM) :

she's gorgeous!
I love everything on her
xoxo

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:39 AM) :

Those gorgeous shoes are going to haunt my dreams... anyone who can yawn didn't get a good look at them! Crazy unexpected touch to a somewhat plain classic outfit.

Blogger junglesiren said ... (11:41 AM) :

It takes a spicy girl to carry off those LV sandals. They are so crazy! Voodoo shoes. Not sure if I need them with this outfit but I guess if I bought them I would want to wear the hell out of 'em.

I love the jacket too. That color is fantastic over the striped tee.

Lastly, to knit pick on this beautiful creature, IMHO a part side might be more flattering.

Blogger diane said ... (11:45 AM) :

She's wearing about 5 of my mortgage payments on her feet :)

Blogger Philip Bewley said ... (11:55 AM) :

The shoes give a lift in more ways than one. Very romantic hair.

Blogger LivingGolden said ... (12:16 PM) :

Love it from the ankles up.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:27 PM) :

J'adore :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:28 PM) :

I love her LV sandals.

Blogger Stephanie Clayton said ... (12:50 PM) :

Those LV shoes are making a lot of appearances. They're almost works of art. People either love them or hate them. On the right person/right look (on her, for example) they are smashing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:57 PM) :

great colors!!!!!

Blogger Brian said ... (1:39 PM) :

Unless she works at Applebees, those shoes have too much "flair"...

Blogger Dr. Debonaire said ... (2:10 PM) :

The LV space safari shoes are my favorite

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:13 PM) :

The shoes have an uplifting and cheery quality about them. I think there's too many ideas in one shoe but sometimes too much is just right. Her legs are pretty too. The rest of her look is too much and it's the opposite of too much is just right.

Blogger Bowerbird Photography said ... (2:26 PM) :

love those shoes!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:35 PM) :

Throw your shoulders back and stand up straight! The look is ruined by her hunched over stance.

Blogger Angelique said ... (3:01 PM) :

aaaaaaaaaah LOVE the shoes. need.

Blogger Laura M. said ... (3:17 PM) :

why did she ruin it with the shoes?!
i'm not a particular fan of LV, anyway...

Blogger Wanderlusting said ... (3:29 PM) :

The shoes are nice, I don't get the HUGE fuss over them but I wouldn't turn my nose up at them either. However, I just don't feel it with this outfit. It just doesn't go.

It's lovely seperate but not as a whole...I appreciate the use of the sandals to "spice" things up but they should be paired with something similar or at least complimentary, like an all black outfit, a leather mini, a white dress...anything but this.

Not that I don't love what she's got going on, I just would have gone in a different direction. You can be avante garde with your style but in the end, it has to make "sense"

My two cents!

*Lusty*

Blogger yula said ... (3:52 PM) :

I just Love this photo, the background compliments her colours Great photography.

Blogger tizzylish said ... (3:53 PM) :

I am so sick of those shoes. I would rather go on a vacation in the sun! Too much!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:57 PM) :

i have decided to buy the new vuitton shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bon, the look is trendy but too trendy with the chanel bag (do not like it) love the green touch and the dark blue/black and white striped top.

Blogger Deli Aşına Kendi Gönenirmiş said ... (3:59 PM) :

good combination, cool look, but i don't like these sandals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:18 PM) :

One day I will grow up and be a chic french woman with long flowy wavy hair...

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (4:39 PM) :

AMAZING! Love the effortless 'I just threw this on' part of the outfit, and then BANG LV shoes! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:41 PM) :

wow!!!

All I can say is when will I ever be able to afford to put such combination together.

LV, Chanel, bottega veneta cardigan. All those together will pay my postgrad tuition fee - My time is almost here. hehe:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:43 PM) :

God and the backdrop is amazing. Sart where in Paris is this, paying a visit this wknd and will surely like to pay homage xx

Blogger MONI said ... (5:01 PM) :

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (5:31 PM) :

Enchanting.

The shoes are cool, of course, but I love the photog's repetition of the Chanel bag's grate pattern -- on the wall and on the street.

The striped top works with the bag as well.

Totally fun and confident.

Blogger cmmcenearney said ... (5:39 PM) :

Love the late-1990's-Alanis-Morissette hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 PM) :

i believe the term is casual elegance? thick warm blazer/cardigan, paired with runway-esque spicy sandals via LV... and the classic 2.55 flap via CHANEL... it all works.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:14 PM) :

I don't understand why some posters are so overly critical by some of the outfits shown here. I thought this blog was to showcase interesting fashion ensembles that we can take inspiration from, not judge it. It's completely ok if you don't like a particular outfit, but why dissect it? In my opinion its kind of insulting to the subject.

She likes her clothes, and how she puts her ensemble together is HER right and it represents of HER style and taste, that's what really matters.
Why are we so critical?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:32 PM) :

I find it interesting that no one commented (save the title) on the use of the color green. This is the first thing I was struck by!

Have I been under a rock and thereby, am the only one who had a revelation upon the green? I'd completely forgotten the color. Not since the early 90s have I worn that hue (in a leather bomber jacket - ugh).

Most recently, there's so much talk regarding shades of gray, shades of black, deep blues, all of the above mixed together. . . but green?

Blogger suzzee said ... (9:57 PM) :

just after a few months, those LV shoes look so dated now... don't know why

so many things going on at one place

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (12:08 AM) :

Love the shoes!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:10 AM) :

AAARGH love the marc jacobs shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:57 AM) :

Love the green coat! Anyone know where it's from?

Blogger lou-lou said ... (8:59 AM) :

I love those shoes, they are very stylish and can spice-up any outfits.
I just read an article about them and they have already a waiting list.WOW!!!!
I hope I will get mine.

Blogger Hadley Makes said ... (11:10 AM) :

Oh, those shoes!

Blogger Theresa said ... (3:23 PM) :

Clearly green-eyed at the shoes but dont think she's making the best of them. Whereas I, on the other hand, would wear them to the best of their abilities!!

Blogger the sophisticat said ... (5:29 AM) :

Shoe of the season, no?

I prefer Givenchy I must say. Or something like Nicholas Kirkwood!

Blogger id said ... (5:52 AM) :

The shoes are too much, but the rest of the outfit has a cool balance between casual and chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:50 AM) :

i want her shoes :(:(:(

they are just to fierce :o

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 AM) :

I applaud her effort but it's not one of my favorites. The combination of textured skirt and textured jacket just doesn't work for me. I feel like there are too many blatant status items that don't seem to go together.

Blogger Catwalk said ... (10:45 AM) :

the shoes are wonderful..and gray and green look good!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 PM) :

Is it me or is there anyone else who is totally done with the OVER THE TOP womens shoes sported about town for awhile now??

Are they REALLY flattering?? Hold your hand over the women from the knees up, now hold your hand over the woman from the knees down, which is more attract?? As a matter of fact, the look isn't even congruent. Maybe the top half should be wearing a winter downhill skying outfit??

Blogger Deafkid said ... (5:13 PM) :

oh wow...how people like those shoes is beyond me.
they look like a black forest cake picked out of a garbage can.

Blogger Mr. Argent said ... (1:07 PM) :

Her hair texture goes very well with the bouclé.

Blogger Miiicha said ... (8:03 PM) :

Anonymous Evangelina Vidal said ... (6:24 AM) :

you are legendary.

did u see the images from the LV paris afterparty with Chloe Sevigny in head to toe LV?

you can really only wear those sheos with other pieces from the line otherwise it just looks like shes wearing them fro the sake of wearing gorgeous LV shoes, not realy matching or coordinating.

btw, cant go past a chanel.
