Blogger kahartland said ... (9:36 AM) :

she looks like a very stylish, pulled-together, fun and energetic person. and she probably has a great sense of humor :) funny how many judgments can be made on a simple outfit...

Blogger blue roses said ... (9:38 AM) :

love the proportions of this look, with the more fitted jacket and the loose, rolled up pants. also love the combination of bold accessories with the more simple, staple pieces.

Blogger Essan said ... (9:39 AM) :

I'm in love! This outfit suits her so good! And the shoes are so cute!

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:39 AM) :

Love the hair, sunglasses, pants, shoes... everything! But as a guy, I would love a pair of sunglasses like that.

Blogger Tiff said ... (9:44 AM) :

always beautiful.

Anonymous Charlie Rygg said ... (9:45 AM) :

I dig the subtle feel of androgyny in this one.

Anonymous Holly said ... (9:46 AM) :

There is not one thing that I don't love love love about her...She is a great example of how the fit should look for baggy trousers, the whole look is a perfect balance of styling and no other hairdo would work so wonderfully for her. The glasses, watch, and shoes rock! This is a keeper :o)

Anonymous Lori said ... (9:46 AM) :

The shoes are a great touch with such a classically beautiful outfit. Love the shades.

Khakis again! Awesome Dockers k1

Blogger Tanya said ... (9:47 AM) :

her shoes made me smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 AM) :

Everything about this is beautiful. What makes it special, for me, is the gold tones of the watch, necklaces, belt buckle and of course, those gorgeous shoes. It is always details like this that soften such a masculine look and haircut. That and the exquisite cut of her jacket, the oversize but neat pants. These details are what make this so fabulous.

Blogger Chelsea said ... (9:50 AM) :

love her pants!

Chic defined. I would love to be wearing this entire outfit right this minute...in Milano, of course...

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:56 AM) :

Perfection. It's all in the details: the shoes, the delicate chains w/medallions. down to the hardware of the buckle... le pant, le puff.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 AM) :

She has it all together - effortless and so chic. Masculine dress that enhances her femininity.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 AM) :

Emanuele Del Fabbro forever!!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 AM) :

*****This look is similar to the look of "On the Street....Yasmin, London", from Oct. 9, 2009. Usually I wouldn't comment on the surface element of a look, choosing instead to be inspired by the energy and individual style...
That said, this look, the gigantic pants cutting off at mid-calf does NOTHING positive for these women. They look like, Dorf, the character made famous by Tim Conway. I still love the energy here, but it looks like a well-styled, modern 'Dorf'.

Blogger Angeles Almuna said ... (11:27 AM) :

Fabulous!!!!!!!great shoes!!!!!and great posture!!!!!

Blogger Mathé said ... (12:02 PM) :

omg love it! this is perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:10 PM) :

10:02, They're moccasins, not Oxfords. As much as I fell in love with the shoes for their print, the fuzziness and shaping does rather make them look like bedroom slippers. If only they were a slightly more shaped form, or a smooth print instead of actual FUR...

Blogger junglesiren said ... (12:11 PM) :

She does men's wear right. Love it.

Blogger DENNI said ... (12:14 PM) :

PERFECT. THOSE SHOES ARE PURE LOVE..
LOVE IT SO MUCH..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

Fantastic :D I want those shoes :D And I'm a guy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:23 PM) :

Anon 11:18 AM, I don't know what you're seeing but from the perspective of a hot-blooded Italian male let me tell you that there's nothing feminine that's bestowed upon a woman who wears masculine clothing. Alessandra is playing on her androgyny and she does it well. Just leave it at that.

Pietro

Blogger amalie said ... (12:27 PM) :

so chic. i loove her pants and shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 PM) :

very Dries

Blogger Ashley said ... (12:39 PM) :

Amazing outfit. I love that she's cuffed the wide leg pant to showcase the shoes.

http://fashionroadkill-halifax.blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

I think this woman is divine. Whoever above said that the pants are at mid-calf and cut her off...I don't agree. The pants are closer to ankle-length. Whilst I wouldn't wear this look in pants, myself, I love te way taht she has styled this look. Lovely.

Anonymous Alessandra from Milan (not the one in the pic!) said ... (12:53 PM) :

I love her so much.

this woman's style is amazing, clean through with an amazing flair that gives the out fit just the right punch. Furthermore I can only hope to come off as effortlessly cool as her.

Blogger ophelia's funeral said ... (4:25 PM) :

such easy cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:35 PM) :

Anon 11:20: Tim Conway! I loved him on Carol Burnett. I guess we are another generation. That is why we wouldn't pick her look for ourselves.
I think she looks cool and put-together, while being comfortable. She is lucky to be lanky to pull it off. With another 20 pounds she'd still be considered thin by most people but the outfit wouldn't look as interesting.
Things to steal: "matching" a leopard print with black and khaki solids. And the rounds of gold from her glasses, continuing down the front of her top with the necklaces.
However, every time I see a woman with her toes pointed in, I can hear my physical therapist, chiding, "turn your knees out!!!!" Just wait, girls, it will get you later in the lower back.

Blogger Faizan Tariq said ... (4:38 PM) :

Beautiful.

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (4:45 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:36 PM) :

her shoes are so funny.. anyone knows where to get those kind of leopard loafers?

Blogger Jeannine 520 said ... (6:54 PM) :

Lovely. I might swap out the shoes because I'm probably a little too conservative but I like it as it is, too.

Blogger Plus Belle Ma Vie said ... (8:19 AM) :

Oh God I love her style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:45 AM) :

i could jump up and down over this one. usually don't like animal print of any kind. too something......not sure what. pretentious? LOVE the khaki pant, tee and jacket w/ the flat leopard shoe. the medallions at the neck and short hair and glasses. she's good! would ike to hang with her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 AM) :

Androgynous but also gorgeously feminine. A fabulous dynamic. I love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 AM) :

Wonderful Alessandra! We've seen another shot of her with rolled up, wide leg trousers (I think it was jeans) and it's unexpectedly chic. Those medallions are not easy to wear, yet with them she managed to amp the cool factor of that simple look tenfold. Che bravura.

Anonymous Raquel said ... (10:48 AM) :

I know I will be crucified for this one, but other than the tailoring (which would be a wardrobe option for ANYONE with the right income), there isn't much special to speak of regards to her style. I've seen much more enigmatic personal style on this blog alone. I'm sure she's a lovely person, but I don't think her clothes are worthy of these accolades.

Anonymous vanilla said ... (12:45 PM) :

I'm italian and I love fashion ...but this look had surprised me...it's simply fantastic!
VIVA L' ITALIA!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:00 PM) :

I love it all. I'm not as crazy about her shoes as others - and not because of the print, but because they look too big - almost bedroom slipper-ish. I think a ballet flat or Todd loafers would look better.

Blogger Inspire Patrol said ... (4:09 PM) :

That looks so comfortable

Blogger Olviya said ... (6:55 PM) :

nice combo! relaxed male style with powerfull shoes(without any heels!!!).

Blogger s.u.n.d.a.y.g.i.r.l said ... (9:07 PM) :

this cant be soo amazing without her necklaces and sunglasses.

Blogger nikky said ... (9:10 PM) :

YES, YES, YES.

blazer is perfect.

Blogger Oksana said ... (10:12 PM) :

This is so cool! It takes skill to put this together, let alone pull it off! I love the androgyny of it. The short hair helps, of course!

Blogger GZ said ... (2:21 AM) :

A crisp white well-cut t-shirt is always in style. Or so it should be!

Anonymous Goddessvintage said ... (12:22 PM) :

Love the shoes!!!

Blogger Evelyn Rose said ... (3:14 PM) :

Wow, this is amazing. Love the trousers.

Blogger Mira Vales said ... (3:50 PM) :

This is exactly the sort of look I love - relaxed, simple and effortless with a hint of humour:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:07 AM) :

So laid back and so chic. Even Coco Chanel would say bravo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:38 AM) :

Why are so many of the subjects standing with their toes pointed inward?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:02 AM) :

does anyone know where her lovely shoes are from please. thanks

I'm really interested!!

Blogger The Beginnings said ... (6:26 PM) :

Epitome of androgynous excellence. WANT the shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:28 PM) :

So a good example of good dressing. She is just wonderful. Aparently in a simple way but it is obvius that everything is balanced. Good taste, but a strong personality too.

Anonymous candicemaddy said ... (12:36 AM) :

Everything about this picture is so right, and yet it's more than the sum composite of its parts (which are certainly chic on their own). It's the playful toe-in of the right foot, the elegant wrists offset by the wide belt, and the straight-faced elegance. It makes me want to raid my father's closet and pray the snow melts overnight.

Blogger Dawn said ... (5:18 PM) :

There is something VERY sexy about this woman.
