Ok The beard is a tad long and bushy for me and I usually like facial hair on a man. Otherwise I love the colours and isn't his hand pose so genteel!

The shot is good but the style does not quite cut it for me. It is too much, he looks like he is trying too hard to be 'fashionable-while-not-looking-fashionable, edgy-but-not-looking-too-edgy, old-style-but with-a-modern-twist'.
Most importantly, everyone needs to dress according to their bodies. If the latest fashion does not suit your body, don't follow it. (The other option is to do like Karl Lagerfeld: adapt your body, but this is extreme.

No, not personally attractive -- but can't help but admire it as a piece of self-crafting. We're not all "beautiful", after all--so once you've accepted that, then why not go on to work freely with conventions, colors, bodyhair, etc? This feels like a riff on, oh, Lytton Strachey. Very Dickensian. Doesn't work for me. He looks too preciously self-conscious with his too-short pants and too-tight jacket. They look as though they belong to his granny. And I detest big thick bushy beards. Give me Mr Crangi in his Barbour with his sexy beard anyday. Now HE looks splendid!!!
Mmmm... well. I like the idea that he walks dressed like this in the street, I mean, it's original and nicely old-fashioned. But, it realy seems like he dressed up as a "50's university professor". Tryed too hard. I like the shoes though. The rolled pants.. no. The beard and the whole look makes him look much older than he must realy be.

Poor last time and even poorer now. London has such a rich tapestry of fashion but this guy is sadly a cast off.
He certainly is a mix of time and fashion. I really enjoy his use of color and pattern. Great looking shoes. Not too sure about the cuffed pants, they seem a tad too short, but I've seen others wearing their pants this way so maybe it's me who is out of the loop? Surely he is a professor or a scientist. He's got that look. I've always found the thinkers to be sexy.
I'm a big fan of the brogue boots (poss Grenson?) but the beard is too much. But I'm sure he'd be a hit in Utah polygamist circles.

I love that shoes are being shown off by men lately - they are just as vain when it comes to their favourite footwear. I would rather see his trousers simply shorter, not deliberately rolled. (see Grey and Red, Pitti Uomo Jan. 25th) Just my preference.

I have mixed feelings about the short pants, otherwise, great.
He sort of looks like he's trying too hard, and I usually like beards more trim, but for some reason, this look really appeals to me. The pose and slightly quizzical expression make me think he would be an interesting person to know.

The neautral palette with pops of orange or red seem to be it for a/f 2010. Peter Pilotto and Issa London did it fabulously at LFW.

I love everything about this man
I don't like it. An immediate reaction that I've never had to one of your picks before. Style emanates from within (as your London Shine shot of a few days ago beautifully illustrates), and these are merely clothes this man has put on. Or, as a friend of mine likes to say, "The clothes are wearing him".
I also think (in armchair psychologist mode) that the bushy beard strongly suggests that this person's inner essence, whatever it is, is actually being hid under all the layers, not flowing up and out through them into the world.
And - is it just me, or does the jacket simply not fit well? I just don't think it has a nice cut.
I like the top half of this outfit with the fitted plaid jacket and a bit of orange cardigan showing. But I have just never been into the rolled trousers look. I will be so happy when that has run its course.
As a bit of a beard 'amateur', I wouldn't say his beard suits him especially, and I don't particularly like anything he's wearing. But an outfit can be so much more than the sum of it's parts, and whether it was intentional or not, I really enjoy the awkwardness of the whole look. Kinda imagine him as an classical school teacher or librarian or something!

This is a great composition, love the picture. The angle up to the mansard windows grabs the gray London sky and thrusts light into the center; the railings, arch and balustrades define the space; the strong perspective of the stone facades draws the eye to the arch; the cobblestones, also oriented toward the arch, have all the tones of his outfit. His zig-zaggy jacket plays off the close repetition of the iron fence, the shoe laces parallel the iron railings, and the orange in the shoes and vest sing it up.
Wouldn't say Dickensian, but definitely scholarly.
