On the way back from Tokyo, I made a quick stop over in Sydney. I still have more shots from Japan, but I wanted to get these Sydney shots up right away.

I like the black and white photography! In my opinion you don't do it often enough, there are so many different elements that black and white images bring out of a picture.

Oxford St sure is the place where you will find the cutting edge of Sydney's trends! Loved your images from your recent Japan trip....they made me want to return to Japan, as it has been some years since my last visit. Enjoy your stay...Sydney welcomes you!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:01 PM) :

This is a situation in which, clothing choices are a bit secondary...this face, that expression, those knees are the important aspect of this shot, all three of those things exist for a year or two and change...those knees say so much...remember them?

I like the man in the background, very Oxford St.

Blogger Kathleen said ... (11:20 PM) :

Flip Flop back again to trends of the past. So grunge, yet so modern. The heavy boots and short "baby doll" type dress are tripping my mind. What a beautiful face. I kind of wish she brought it all together for a smoother look, but to each their own. Youth is for expression and experimentation.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:18 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:55 PM) :

Love this soo much. Why can't i be so cool and effortless?

Blogger closetexchange said ... (7:35 AM) :

Anonymous *Khanya* said ... (3:01 PM) :

Gosh what a beautiful shot! Loving the way her hair lit up in the sun, looks like a halo. And her facial expression! It's like she's in a place where there is no grime and everything is pretty! Contrasts beautifully with the grunginess of her outfit and the streets behind her. You MUST come to South Africa, Cape Town has so many beautiful and interesting people =]
