Wonderful typography. Some images are BEST in black and white.

How wonderful! We really don't make enough effort with hats anymore...I mean, who would even consider using a hat box nowadays? And yet it's just a sign of respect for the quality of your clothes.
Such a fun display!

When I was a little girl, a man wouldn't consider going out of the house without a hat on. These photos are beautiful and very nostalgic.

Oooh, lovely hats, lovely boxes.... Do they make them for women, too?

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (9:24 AM) :

I love the graphics on the boxes. Real "old school" - like a real haberdashery should be. This ain't Macy's men's department.

I have a bunch of wonderful Hilditch & Keys ties - veddy British. I love Savile Row style.

Anonymous fabrica said ... (1:22 PM) :

brilliant packaging! makes me want to go shopping.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 PM) :

Isn't this kind of packaging luxurious and beautiful...you go into a shop and just see boxes...Then you ask for a certain hat and they have it! I know a shop like this in Seville!

xx

Anonymous blog mode said ... (2:28 AM) :

Blogger Woody said ... (1:59 PM) :

Got to say - I bought a rolling panama from Bates' in Jermyn street, and very quickly it deteriorated to the point that I'm scared to roll it again. I know how to look after hats - always rolled it the right way - but the straw has not been well conditioned, and the hat is too dry and brittle.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:18 PM) :

OMG I'm from Panamaaaa its such an honooorr seen my country's name in here so loviing the hatsss <3

Blogger Vivian said ... (7:46 AM) :

a well made hat is so beautiful, sometimes its the downside of mass production that we forget the real beauty of hand crafted items
