Love the photo!
What makes me most curious is whether or not this woman jumped over the puddle in front of her path...
Also love the movement of her dress and its contrast to her slick hairstyle.

Gorgeous!

Love black and whites photos. She reminds me of the workers (here they wear orange vests) for street repairs who hold up the sign that says: "Stop" on one side and "Slow" on the other except she is Italian, chic and beautifully accessorized. Love how she is "framed" by the white at the top of graffiti sign and the white of her shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 PM) :

Man, I cannot fault the framing and timing in this. I'd like to have seen it in colour, I guess there was some palette issue that made it better in B/W?

Fellini-esque! La mamma, la puttana!

Blogger ChalcedonyofSF said ... (11:51 PM) :

I think if this photo was shown in color, it would not have the same impact as this black and white shot. Wonderful choice!

Her look is classic and feminine - a particular favorite!

I have a feeling her clothing may be considered "geriatric" - a word my younger coworker will occasionally use to describe some articles of clothing or accessories I have - but I am not worried. In time, she'll figure it out.
